Parish Council
A Catholic parish council, also known as a pastoral council, is a group of parishioners who collaborate with the parish priest to support and guide the spiritual and practical life of the parish community. This council typically includes members from various backgrounds and ministries within the parish who offer advice, plan events, and assist in setting goals to enhance the parish’s mission. Together, they assess the needs of the community, organize faith-based activities, and work to ensure that the parish remains a vibrant, welcoming space that nurtures spiritual growth and fellowship.

Parish Council: Growing in Service and Discipleship
The Parish Council meets monthly to both review parish ministries and deepen our own discipleship in Christ. Alongside our planning, we read Forming Intentional Disciples by Sherry Waddell, discussing one chapter at each meeting to strengthen our faith and leadership. We invite parishioners to read along with us and reflect on the same questions we use in our discussions.
