More than a Youth Group
We are excited to bring “YOU: Life, Love, and the Theology of the Body” to our parish as a profound and inspiring program for teens and their families. Based on the teachings of St. John Paul II, this program offers an in-depth exploration of the Church’s wisdom on human dignity, sexuality, and the true meaning of love.

What is Theology of the Body?
At its heart, Theology of the Body is St. John Paul II’s beautiful and transformative vision of the human person, revealing how our bodies are not only physical but deeply spiritual. We are created in the image and likeness of God, and through our bodies, we are called to reflect His love. This teaching helps us understand our purpose and the divine plan for love, relationships, and authentic happiness.

What Does the “YOU” Program Offer?
The “YOU” program engages teens with powerful, relatable
content and helps them navigate some of the most
challenging topics they face today. It invites young
people to discover their true identity as sons and
daughters of God and the vocation to love that is
written into their very bodies. With engaging videos,
interactive discussions, and Scripture-based lessons, it
provides a safe and faith-filled environment where teens
can reflect on topicssuch as:
• The true meaning of love and how to live it in relationships
• The beauty of chastity and why it leads to authentic freedom
• God’s design for marriage, family, and the gift of life
• How to build healthy, Christ-centered friendships
• Understanding the difference between love and lust
• How to courageously respond to the challenges of today’s culture with faith and conviction
Why is this Important for Teens?
In a world filled with confusion about identity, gender, and love, “YOU” brings clarity through the light of Catholic teaching. It helps teens develop a healthy self-image, grounded in the dignity that comes from being created by God. The program empowers them to live out their calling with confidence, offering them tools to face peer pressure, societal messages, and the distorted views of love and sexuality promoted in popular culture.
A Call to Parents
Parents are the primary educators of their children, especially in matters of faith and morality. The
“YOU” program offers resources to help parents guide their teens in these conversations, supporting
them in their role as the first witnesses of God’s plan for love and life. Through this program, parents
can join their children in exploring what it means to live fully in the truth of Christ’s love.
Join Us on This Journey
“YOU: Life, Love, and the Theology of the Body” is more than just a program—it’s a journey toward discovering God’s purpose for our lives and the joy of living out His plan. We invite both teens and parents to embark on this life-changing experience, growing together in the knowledge of what it means to be fully human, fully alive, and fully loved by God.
